Ólafur Arnalds has released sunrise session III, the latest instalment in his ongoing seasonal live series and his first in four years. The performance premiered on YouTube on the Winter Solstice at the end of last year, continuing the project’s focus on light and seasonal change.
The full collection of live recordings from sunrise session III will arrive on digital streaming platforms on Friday 27 February.
Earlier this month, Arnalds also presented like gravity, a 23-minute documentary now available on YouTube. Alongside the film, a TAC compilation titled like gravity was released on 13 February, bringing together 15 collaborations from across his catalogue.
