Hamnet

Max Richter’s new album features the ethereal score (original motion picture soundtrack) he composed for Academy Award winning writer/director Chloé Zhao’s upcoming movie Hamnet. It tells the powerful story of love and loss that inspired the creation of Shakespeare’s timeless classic and greatest masterpiece, Hamlet – featuring Jessie Buckley and Paul Mescal. The movie is based on the Sunday Times Bestseller by Maggie O’Farrell. The album is released digitally, on CD and on vinyl. The CD artwork features exclusive photos shot by screenwriter and director Zhao on the set of Hamnet. 

The soundtrack has also been nominated for over 100 awards, including being shortlisted for an Academy Award. Richter was also honored with an UK CBE.
