Hamnet

Max Richter releases his album featuring the ethereal score (original motion picture soundtrack) he composed for Academy Award winning writer/director Chloé Zhao’s upcoming movie Hamnet. It tells the powerful story of love and loss that inspired the creation of Shakespeare’s timeless classic and greatest masterpiece, Hamlet – featuring Jessie Buckley and Paul Mescal. The movie is based on the Sunday Times Bestseller by Maggie O’Farrell.  

The album is released digitally today, with a CD and vinyl following on 9 January. The CD artwork features exclusive photos shot by screenwriter and director Zhao on the set of Hamnet.
