Stephan Moccio has released his new single Dear Burt, a jazz-tinged solo piano piece that nods to his early years as a performer.
“Burt Bacharach has been with me my entire life. ‘Dear Burt’ is the closest I could come to writing him a letter,” Moccio said.
The track is taken from his forthcoming project Scenes From a Velvet Room, which revisits Moccio’s formative time as a house pianist in Toronto, shaping the intimate, late-night atmosphere reflected in the new material.
