Berlin-based Costa Rican pianist and composer Sofi Paez has released her new single Pond, a collaboration with Los Angeles-based harpist and composer Lara Somogyi, out now via OPIA Community.
Written during a late-summer studio session, the piece began with a simple piano arpeggio and vocal melody, inspired by the stillness of looking into a quiet pond. Somogyi's harp later completed the track, adding delicate textures to its meditative atmosphere.
Built around piano, voice and harp, Pond is a gentle, reflective composition that explores calm, space and quiet introspection. The single is available now on all streaming platforms.
