The recording brings together Gregson’s signature cello synthesizer with solo violin, presenting the material in a listening format separate from the stage production.
Gregson will also release a second project, Concrete Voids, on February 20. Created in collaboration with London’s Southbank Centre, the work was composed for the venue’s immersive Concrete Voids sound system in Queen Elizabeth Hall. Scored for cello, synthesizers and string ensemble, the piece premiered in 2025.
