Award-winning cellist and composer Peter Gregson releases his new EP Corridors on December 5. Following his recent self-titled album, the EP features music choreographed for Garrett Smith’s ballet Corridors, which premiered at Atlanta Ballet in 2024. The recording highlights Gregson’s signature cello synthesizer alongside solo violin, expanding the sonic world originally created for the stage.
Gregson will also release a second project, Concrete Voids, on February 20. Created in collaboration with London’s Southbank Centre, the work was composed for the venue’s immersive Concrete Voids sound system in Queen Elizabeth Hall, which transforms the space into a three-dimensional instrument. Scored for cello, synthesizers, and string ensemble, the piece premiered in 2025.
