Ólafur Arnalds will premiere Falling Apart Together, a new live experience combining concert, theatre, storytelling and immersive staging, in Dublin on 3 October.
“We have never been more connected, yet we increasingly experience life alone,” says Arnalds. “In a world where the distance between us feels like it’s growing day by day, I wanted to create something that guides us back to each other.”
Created with theatre company Dead Centre and a multidisciplinary creative team, the show brings music, personal stories and audience participation together on stage. Audience members will be invited to contribute recorded memories, while a One-Day Choir organised with Gaia Music Collective will involve local participants in each city.
Falling Apart Together tours Europe and North America this autumn, with further dates to follow in 2027.
