Launched earlier this month, "The Songs of a Jumping Universe" introduces audiences to Richter’s wide-ranging musical vision, uncovering links between genres, languages, and cultures. “Music that is very different connects in exciting and special ways,” says Richter. “Maybe ways that we don’t expect.”
Each one-hour episode airs bi-weekly and includes a single track from Sleep Circle - a new 90-minute suite reworking material from Richter’s landmark album Sleep. The show is otherwise a curated journey through music from around the world, spotlighting how diverse works resonate with one another in surprising and meaningful ways.
"The Songs of a Jumping Universe" is available via Apple Music Chill and on demand for Apple Music subscribers on Apple Music and Apple Podcasts. Each episode is accompanied by a playlist featuring all the music from the broadcast.
