Out now via Decca, the record features live renditions of works from Einaudi’s 2025 album The Summer Portraits, alongside audience favourites including “I Giorni”, “Nuvole Bianche” and “Experience”. A live version of “Pathos” was released in advance of the album.
The release follows Einaudi’s sold-out 2026 Solo Piano Tour and arrives ahead of his biggest UK headline shows to date at London’s O2 Arena on 10 and 11 July, with a second date added due to demand.
Originally released in 2025, The Summer Portraits was inspired by a collection of paintings Einaudi encountered in a villa on a Mediterranean island. The discovery sparked a series of compositions shaped by memory, place and imagination, which now receive a new live treatment on The Summer Portraits Live.
