Leeds-based producer and composer Jessie Marcella released her new EP 11:11 on May 8, presenting a concept-led collection that centres on themes of alignment, perception and duality.
Built around the symbolism of the “11:11” angel number, the project draws on its associations with intention and manifestation, while also referencing the fixed points of time it marks each day. This dual framework underpins the EP, where Marcella explores the relationship between structure and feeling, treating time as both a measurable and subjective experience.
“11:11 is an EP built around the idea of alignment, both as a moment in time and as a state of being,” Marcella says. “Across the EP, time, perception and emotion are explored… where each idea exists in more than one form.”
The release continues Marcella’s focus on blending conceptual ideas with electronic composition, translating abstract themes into detailed, immersive sound.
