Jean-Michel Blais has released his fourth studio album, mirador, out today. The album arrives alongside a new short film created with longtime collaborator Adrian Villagomez, which premiered via NOWNESS.
Inspired by Blais’ childhood memories of growing up in Québec, the film blends live performance with a surreal story of two children transforming the everyday through imagination, reflecting the album’s themes of curiosity, refuge and possibility.
Blais will follow the release with a run of intimate European shows this October, including dates in London, Berlin, Utrecht and Paris.
