Eunike Tanzil has released a new single Winter Echoes inspired by Johann Sebastian Bach’s celebrated cantata Herz und Mund und Tat und Leben.
Written for piano, strings, voice and percussion, the piece takes Bach’s music as a point of departure rather than something to simply reinterpret. Tanzil carries its sense of warmth, reconciliation and celebration into her own contemporary language, reshaping the cantata’s radiant spirit through an intimate, cinematic sound world.
