LA based Indonesian composer-pianist-producer Eunike Tanzil has announced the release of her highly anticipated debut album The First of Everything, out on 12 September 2025.
Recorded in Berlin with the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester under the baton of Anna Handler, the album features Tanzil herself on piano, celesta, bells and even snare drum, and includes contributions from DG cellist Sophie Kauer.
A deeply personal and cinematic journey, the album’s twelve tracks reflect formative “first experiences” in Tanzil’s life, from childhood memories to artistic awakenings. “This debut album is a soundtrack to my life,” says Tanzil, who collaborated with orchestrator Max Knoth to bring her musical storytelling to life.
The first single, Remembering, is available now. The First of Everything will be released in all formats, including a crystal-clear vinyl LP with signed art-print poster, as well as limited-edition bundles featuring a digital masterclass with the composer.
