Akira Kosemura has released a new EP, For Grandpa, out today. The four-track release is his final project of 2025 and consists of improvised piano pieces dedicated to his grandfather, who passed away earlier this summer.
The EP is accompanied by artwork created using four photographs taken by Kosemura’s grandfather in the 1990s, connecting the music directly to his photographic work.
